Expansion of charging network for electric flying

A strategic part of the collaboration is the connection of Den Helder Airport to the growing charging network for electric aircraft that NRG2fly is currently rolling out. After Teuge Airport and Lelystad Airport, Den Helder Airport will be the third airport in this innovative network. International expansion will follow this year, including in Germany.

“With 4,200 large and small airports, Europe has a huge potential network for electric aircraft. We are extremely pleased with Den Helder Airport as a frontrunner in our network. In this way, we show that electric flying can also be interesting for offshore airports and we open the door to the Nordics.” according to Merlijn van Vliet (Director Partnerships and Marketing NRG2fly).
