Flight activities with the V-BAT are currently taking place and will continue to take place in the coming period from Maritime Air Base De Kooy. This is an unmanned aerial system through which Defence is gaining experience with new technologies and future applications within the maritime domain.

The activities take place from De Kooy and above the adjacent maritime area.

The V-BAT may be visible in the vicinity during these activities. The flights are conducted in accordance with applicable aviation procedures and under the supervision of qualified personnel.
